As much as I’d love to recommend this yummy Provençal rosé purely for its quick and easily pronounceable name, there’s a serious wine beneath the clever acronym, making it a long-standing favourite with wine journalists, and with very good reason.
It has power yet delicacy, with subtle but confident strawberry and cream aromas. Bursting with sour pink grapefruit and more strawberry fruit in the mouth, it’s hallmark is the gorgeously crisp and refreshing lemony, herbaceous zestiness on the long finish.
Great on days like today with lobster, prawns, strawberry-based puddings or simply as an aperitif in the sun!
